The software provided included, Import Costing, the purchase and sales modules, inventory management, part assembling and disassembling (disassembling is a very unique feature not available in standard packages), Debtors, Post Dated cheques and creditors.

AMCO the parent company of Serendib Bookshop has a history of over ten years in the business, and is responsible for importing a variety of books to Sri Lanka and distributing them island wide. The main objective was to have better edge on competitors in trade fairs, Exhibitions etc., Pre plan purchasing (Tea, Packing material), Organize labour, Storage and production planning, Optimise working capitol, Monitor daily production, Storage, Bank loans, Creditors payment, Buyer payment, Uncollected DO’s etc.
The system computerised included inventory management (Packing materials FIFO), Sales & Costing, General Ledger, Debtors, Creditors, Payroll, Tea system (Quotation, Contract, Courier & Import Modules), Tea outlets and Shipping system.
The system is divided into 13 modules to cover the operational areas as well as buyer handling to optimise the staff resources.
